Sending Inclusions

Quick answer

We only need 20 ml of your breastmilk for every order, irrespective of the number of items being purchased. It can be fresh or frozen. Recently expressed or years old. It makes no difference.

How we receive your inclusions: We are able to provide you with medical grade materials to safely send your breastmilk to us. Choose the delivery option at checkout with an inclusion kit. If you are sending additional inclusions like hair or umbilical cords we will provide packaging for this too provided you specify this in the notes when you place your order with us.

Our collection kits are the easiest and cost effective way to send your inclusions to us.

What are inclusions?

Inclusions are what you provide us to set in your creation.

1. Breastmilk inclusion - is any inclusion made of breastmilk.

2. Non-breastmilk inclusions - may be any of the following: hair, dried umbilical cord, cremation ashes, encapsulated placenta, teeth, sand, fabric or any other inclusion that you consider precious.

Single inclusions is any one these mentioned above and double inclusions are any two (e.g. breastmilk and hair).

What address do I send the inclusions to?

Once you place your order with us you will receive an order confirmation and we will will post a collection kit to you within 2 working days from placing your order. We regret that we cannot accept inclusions without an order as the order number is used to track your inclusions once we receive it.

No preservation processes needed when sending your milk!

Human breast milk has amazing properties that prevents it from going off or rancid during transit. It may not be a great idea to consume breast milk that's been travelling from across the globe, but for the purposes its being used, it is perfectly fine.

Frozen breastmilk is perfectly fine

We are able to use any milk, fresh or frozen, recently expressed or even stored in the freezer for a few years. It makes no difference whatsoever to the creation process. Similarly, whether you provide us with foremilk, hindmilk, milk with a high lipase content or even milk that separates and appears curdled in a short period of time, it is still usable and does not affect the appearance of your creation or the process when converting your milk.

Sending your inclusions

It's your responsibility to mail your inclusions to us at the the address provided in your order confirmation email. We do not cover the cost of mailing inclusions.

All customs declarations (for breastmilk posted outside the United Kingdom), must be annotated as "JEWELLERY MAKING SUPPLIES". Over declaring the value of the items may impost import duties and taxes.

Breastmilk collection kit

All relevant containers will be provided in your kit and you will be given clear instructions on how to send your breastmilk and other inclusions to us. Collection kits are posted within 2 working days of placing an order (unless stated to the contrary if we are unavailable) and you will be notified by email once the collection kit has been mailed. If you are sending different breastmilk samples, you will need to purchase additional breastmilk kits.

UK customers: kits are mailed using Royal Mail's 1st Class service. Return postage is included in the cost of the kit. Delivery aim is next day but it can take up to 15 working days to arrive.

European customers: delivery of your kit will take approximately 3-5 working days to arrive but it can take up to 25 working days. No tracking is available. Return postage is not included in the cost. We urge you to return your kit to us using registered mail.

Rest of the world: delivery of your kit will take approximately 5-10 working days to arrive but it can take up to 25 working day. No tracking is available. Return postage is not included in the cost. We urge you to return your kit to us using registered mail.
